In honor of Black History Month, we celebrate the powerful legacy of Maya Angelou — a poet, author, and civil rights activist whose words continue to move generations.
I remember incorporating the powerful poem, "I Rise" into my valedictorian speech in high school, holding onto its message of courage and perseverance as I stepped into a new chapter of life.
Dr. Angelou’s voice reminds us that no matter the obstacles, we rise — with grace, with power, and with purpose.
This Black History Month, we honor her impact, her brilliance, and the legacy of strength she leaves behind.
